What to expect

The initial consultation consists of a static and dynamic assessment, palpation, neurological assessment and introductory treatment. Following on from the assessment a treatment plan will be established and subsequent treatment sessions will be up to an hour long.

Veterinary physiotherapy is a science based profession, which takes an holistic approach to the treatment of animals following a veterinary referral. Therefore, veterinary consent is required prior to treatment. Owners can self refer by filling out the form below, sending it to your vets to get veterinary consent via a signature and return the form to me by email or a paper copy in person. SLC Veterinary Physiotherapy also works closely with other paraprofessionals to ensure the best outcome for each patient.
